So this is for kids who can't breathe?

The race is a fundraiser for a great cause; helping kids with a lung disease called Cystic Fibrosis. Piper's Angel is a great non-profit raising awareness for these kids stuck with a massive life-limiter. The founder, Travis, discovered his young daughter was able to breathe better when paddle boarding along the Florida beach. Similar to how the saline breathing treatments are used in the emergency room, the salty ocean air helps these brave kids breathe better.

What Will Donations Be Used For?

Great question. I will be paddling behind a support boat. Not just any boat but one captained by famous Scott B.! He is a spearfishing legend at depths unnatural for humans. He laughs in the face of bull sharks. He is the man I want at the helm when I am exhausted from paddling all night and day across the Atlantic.
